Under the weather

I've been feeling a little sick the past few days. Haven't really been able to do much. But when I finally kick this cold it will be time to show off some new projects and set up for my first blog hop. Stay tuned!

Septemeber 11, 2001 was the day I looked at my husband in uniform and knew he was going to war. I will never forget that day. My heart goes out to those that lost loved ones that awful day. I salute our military and first responders, they are REAL AMERICAN HEROES! In 2004 my husband and I traveled to New York to enjoy the city and see the World Trade Center site for ourselves. It was amazing to see the holes where the buildings once stood. This is a very simple layout I made, but still one of my favorites.

Another project!

Here is another of my older projects done this year. This was a contest submission for Cricut. The colors didn't turn out great in the photo, but you get the idea.

Some of my handy work

 I'll be posting a few of my older things here and there until I get on a roll with some new projects! This was my Easter cupcake display. I cut 1.5 inch yellow scallop circles with my cricut then stamped Easter sentiments on white cardstock and punched out with a 1 inch circle punch. I placed a toothpick between two scallops circles and glued it together. Instant cupcake toppers for the season! And yes I made all the cupcakes and icing myself.

Projects are coming

I have a few ideas in the works and hopefully can get them finished and posted soon. In the meantime does anyone want to see some of my previous work?

My first post!
