Gift Jars with David Tutera for Darice Card Making Supplies

Hey Crafty Friends-

I'm back with another project using the David Tutera Celebrate Card Making supplies, but in a different way. I used some of the tags, border strips, stickers, and embellishments to jazz up a couple little jars to give as gifts. With back to school coming up I thought these would be so cute for teachers and friends.

Pretty cute huh? Here are few more pics!

I also shot a video showing how to make these little cuties. Once it has been loaded to the Coredinations Paper Youtube channel I will post it here for you. In the mean time you can see more of my videos on the channel by clicking HERE

Thanks everyone for hopping by. Have a great crafty day!

Summer CHA pics!

Hey Crafty Friends-

Today I bring you some of my favorite pics from CHA last week. I always have such a blast when I go. It's heaven for me being around all the new products.

The Say Cheese Collection from Simple Stories is a must have!

These jars at the Cosmo Cricket booth were just so festive.

Of course Tim Holtz always steals the show. Below is a shot of his Christmas display and Distress Glitters. I must have them all!

The Doodlebug window was too cute for words!

I think hearts belong on everything so Bella Blvd is always perfect. Especially for Christmas.

Last but certainly not least is Lawn Fawn showing a few Fall projects. LOVE!

Oh I had the best time being there. I can't wait to get my hands on these new items so I can get to crafting. Thanks for hopping by to peek at my pics. Come back again soon for more crafty goodness!

My Core'dinations Creative Frenzy!

Hey Crafty Friends-

Today I am sharing with you three projects I created to apply for the Core'dinations Cardstock Design Team. I am so excited for the opportunity since I use Core'dinations all the time. I find that is cuts very well with my Cricut, embossing comes out great when run through the Big Shot or Cuttlebug, it takes ink like no other, and sanding is so fun! It is my favorite cardstock to work with and I hope I can be a part of the team. Since my favorite crafts to do are party and holiday related, as well as cards and tags, that's what I stuck with for my submission. Let me show you what I created!

With Easter coming up I thought it would be fun to make a little treat bag for the kiddos.

I started glitter core for the bag then used green core for the grass and pink core for the sign. I inked the edge with Distress ink for a little jazz. The bunny is my favorite part. I used Chocolate Box core to cut the bunny with my Cricut. I sanded the edges a bit to let the lavender core show. I added a google eye and a checked bow to finish him off. So cute!

For my next project I combined two of my current obsessions, mason jars and purple.

I used green patterned paper to make the tag base and adhered a paper doily that was cut in half. I used purple core with a metal die to cut the jar, then embossed it with my Cuttlebug. It was then sanded and edges inked to distress it a bit. I embellished with twine, stickers, and a stamped sentiment to complete my giftable tag. Love the way this turned out.

For my final project I went with a card suitable for the coffee lovers in your life.

This card turned out amazing! I started with Black Magic core for the base and adhered a layer of craft cardstock I had stamped and embossed with white hearts and inked the edges in red. I glued down a layer of white glitter cardstock then layered on the Love you a Latte square which was cut with the Cricut out of Black Magic core again. The black core was sanded to allow the red core to show through. I added a checked ribbon and a heart gem and it was done! Quick, easy, adorable!

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I made for the design team call. Thank you to Core'dinations for the chance to be a part of the team. Please come back soon for more inspiration!

Have a great crafty day!
